Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 20, 2026
Kei Concepts respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website or dine at our restaurants.
Introduction
Kei Concepts ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle your personal information when you visit our website, make reservations or orders, or interact with our restaurant locations in Orange County, California.
Information We Collect
Forms and Direct Input
When you submit forms on our website (reservations, contact inquiries, newsletter signup), we collect information you voluntarily provide, including:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Reservation details (date, time, party size, preferences)
- Dining history and preferences
- Feedback and inquiry content
Analytics and Cookies
We use two analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website and improve the experience. Each service collects its own categories of data:
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC)
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) collects aggregated, pseudonymous data about how visitors interact with the site. We do not configure GA4 to track individual identities. GA4 may automatically collect:
- Pages viewed and time spent on each page
- Referral source (where you came from)
- Approximate location (city or region) derived from your IP address — full IPs are not stored by GA4
- Device type, browser, screen size, and language
- Conversion events (e.g. clicked “Reserve a Table”)
GA4 retains this data for 14 months by default. You can opt out of GA4 site-wide by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser.
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation)
Microsoft Clarity collects behavioral data including session recordings — anonymized replays of mouse movements, scrolls, clicks, and screen taps during your visit. Clarity helps us identify usability problems (e.g. users repeatedly clicking a non-interactive element). Clarity automatically masks input fields containing personal data (email addresses, names, payment information) so those values are never recorded.
Clarity retains session data for up to 13 months. To opt out of Clarity tracking across all sites that use it, visit the Microsoft Clarity Terms of Use for the opt-out mechanism, or use the Microsoft Privacy Dashboard.
Cookies We Use
These analytics services place the following cookies on your device:
- _ga (Google Analytics) — distinguishes unique users; expires after 2 years
- _ga_* (Google Analytics) — session state; expires after 2 years
- _clck (Microsoft Clarity) — persistent user ID; expires after 1 year
- _clsk (Microsoft Clarity) — session ID; expires when the browser is closed
- MUID (Microsoft) — cross-property unique identifier; expires after 13 months
You can clear or block these cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect the functionality of reservations, ordering, or any other feature on this site.
Third-Party Services
We integrate with third-party platforms and services:
- Toast POS: Order and reservation management system. Data shared includes reservation details and order history.
- Google Maps: Location and directions integration. Google collects your interaction with embedded maps.
- Social Media Embeds: Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms. These services may collect data when you interact with embedded content.
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. Please review their terms if you have concerns about data collection.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for:
- Processing and managing reservations and orders
- Responding to inquiries and providing customer support
- Sending marketing communications (with your consent where required)
- Improving website functionality and user experience
- Analyzing usage patterns and marketing effectiveness
- Complying with legal obligations
- Preventing fraud and ensuring security
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with:
- Service Providers: Payment processors, reservation systems (Toast), hosting providers, and analytics services
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or in response to valid legal requests
- Business Transfers: In the event of merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to:
- Know: What personal information is collected, used, and shared
- Delete: Request deletion of personal information (with limited exceptions)
- Opt-Out: Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Limit: Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what's necessary to provide the requested service
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Kei Concepts does not sell personal information in exchange for money. We do share certain pseudonymous behavioral data with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics purposes, which California law classifies as “sharing” under CCPA/CPRA. You can opt out of this sharing in two ways:
- Browser signal: Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser settings. We treat GPC as a valid CCPA opt-out request and stop loading the relevant analytics scripts for the rest of your visit.
- Email request: Send an email to hello@keiconcepts.info with subject “CCPA Do Not Sell or Share Request.” Include your email address and any identifiers we may have so we can locate and remove your data.
To exercise any CCPA right, contact us at hello@keiconcepts.info. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA right.
Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information and terminate the child's account if applicable.
Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to take steps to protect your information.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
Your Privacy Choices
Email Communications
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Cookies and Tracking
You can control analytics cookies in three ways:
- Browser settings: Block or clear cookies under Privacy/Security settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Most browsers also support “private browsing” modes that block third-party cookies by default.
- Google Analytics opt-out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to block GA4 tracking across all sites.
- Microsoft Clarity opt-out: Manage Clarity tracking via the Microsoft Privacy Dashboard.
Global Privacy Control & Do Not Track
We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request under CCPA. When GPC is enabled in your browser, we treat your visit as a “do not sell or share” request automatically. Most modern browsers also support a legacy “Do Not Track” header; we honor this signal where technically feasible.
Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to external sites. Please review the privacy policies of any third-party services before providing your information.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
